Football Handling Sessions for Schools
Learn about football kit and equipment from the earliest days of the game to the present.
See, handle and even wear the old kit.
Sessions can be about:
- The history of football kit, Citizenship
- The World Cup
- Going to the match reminiscences
The Gallery Session Leader will take the group through an investigation and exploration of the objects, in one of the Museum's education rooms.
Group photographs of pupils dressed up in football kit through the ages provide a memorable reminder of the session.
Sessions last 30-45 minutes and cost £2 per pupil.
The charge includes the use of an Education Room for lunch if required.

- Key Stages 1-4 Design technology.
- Key Stages 1-3 History and GCSE.
- Key Stages 1-4 Science.
- Key Stage 4 Citizenship.
