Science and Football Talks

The Museum gives interactive talks on the Science of Football appropriate to pupils of all ages.

The talks focus on:

- The science of boots, balls, shirts and shorts from the 1880's to the Space Age. Objects from the Museum's collection illustrate this theme.

- The science of the Premiership footballer's diet. This talk gives pupils an insight into eating to play football but also eating for a healthy life.

These themes can be covered separately or combined in one session, which lasts one hour and costs £2 per pupil.

The charge includes the use of an Education Room for lunch if required.
