Hungarian Delegation in visit to National Football Museum

The Museum today was delighted to welcome a delegation of Hungarian officials who are in Lancashire as part of Chorley Borough Councils twin town link with Székesfehérvár, one of Hungary's eight largest cities.

The Museum was top of the list of highlights that the Hungarian delegation wanted to visit during their visit to the North-West.

Richard Cuthbert from the Museum said: "Like England, Hungary is a country with a long and proud football tradition. Indeed the visitors were quick to remind me of the famous 6-3 Hungarian victory over England at Wembley in 1953! We enjoyed welcoming them here today and i'm sure they enjoyed their visit."
