Treasury Minister addresses Business Community at The National Football Museum

Treasury Minister, The Rt Hon Paul Boateng MP visited The National Football Museum today to address delegates from the Preston and South Ribble Business community.

The Business Briefing seminar had been jointly organised by Preston MP, Mark Hendrick and South Ribble MP, David Borrow.

Mr Hendrick said, “I am delighted that Mr Boateng came to Preston to meet with the Preston and South Ribble business community. Delegates had the unique opportunity to put questions directly to The Chief Secretary to the Treasury on matters that affect their business and openly discuss views on Treasury policy.”

Mark Bushell, Spokesman for the Museum said,

“This was a great opportunity for the local business community to see what The National Football Museum has to offer them in terms of corporate facilities. It also allows the Museum to introduce businesses to our newly created Corporate Membership Scheme.”

And Mr Bushell was delighted that Mr Boateng had attended the event, concluding,

“This is a wonderful opportunity to show the Treasury Minister that the Museum is a world class resource for not only the region but the country as a whole.”
