Kevin Gallacher Signs for the Museum
Kevin Gallacher will be signing copies of his new book “Tartan Turmoil – the fall & rise of Scottish football” at the museum from 6pm Wednesday 19th July ahead of Preston North End's friendly with Everton.
The ex Scottish International who won 53 caps for his country and was involved in three major tournaments including the 1998 World Cup, pulls no punches when he assess the major figures of the game. These include Sir Alex Ferguson, Kenny Dalglish & Walter Smith.
Amongst the contributors in this partly auto biographical book are former Preston North End managers, Craig Brown & David Moyes. Brown says of Gallacher in his introduction:
“He pulls no punches and says it as he sees it”
This 160 page hardback book, with over a hundred colour photographs, is priced at £22.
