London 2012 Olympic Roadshow Visits National Football Museum

Double Olympic Gold Medalist Daley Thompson, Sports Minister Richard Caborn MP and Lord Coe, Chairman of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic & Paralympic Games visited the National Football Museum as part of the London 2012 Olympic Roadshow national tour. In a meeting with business people from the North West, delegates heard about the economic opportunities presented by the Olympic and the Paralympic Games, in order to develop a strong focus on tourism benefits and to highlight the importance of the Cultural Olympiad which runs from 2008 to 2012.
