Councillor Tyson joins National Football Museum Board

The National Football Museum is delighted to announce that Councillor William Tyson has joined its Board of Trustees from July 2007.

Councillor Tyson was Mayor of Preston 2006-07 and is now Deputy Mayor. He has been the Conservative Councillor for the Ashton Ward for 15 years. He is currently Vice-Chairman of Planning and is active on the City Review Panel.

Councillor Tyson says: “I am delighted to be joining the Board of Trustees of the National Football Museum. Preston is proud to be the host city for the national museum of our national sport, and I look forward to contributing to the museum's progress at an exciting time in its development.”
