Local MP visits National Football Museum

We were delighted to recently welcome the Right Honourable Michael Jack MP, Member of Parliament for Fylde, Lancashire . Michael Jack toured the galleries with Kevin Moore, Museum Director, and then had the opportunity to handle the football from the 1966 World Cup Final. Michael Jack commented on his visit:

"I was delighted to see how the Museum combines the development of the game of football with the social and economic history of England . There is certainly something for people of all ages and backgrounds who choose to visit these remarkable collections. It was certainly a thrill for me to be able to handle the 1996 World Cup ball. It made me realise just what an important job the Museum is doing in archiving the progress and memorabilia of the world game."
