New Trustee at National Football Museum

The National Football Museum is delighted that Fayyaz Ali has been appointed as a Trustee. Fayyaz has been recruited to the Board of Trustees primarily because of his ICT skills. Fayyaz has worked for the past 22 years at the University of Central Lancashire in ICT, most recently as a Senior Business Analyst. Fayyaz is also a qualified youth worker, and has been heavily involved in the Lancashire Youth & Community Service in Preston for many years. He has over 20 years of youth work experience for young people in Preston. He is also an active member of the community at his local mosque.

On his appointment Fayyaz Ali said: “I am delighted to be joining the Board of Trustees at the National Football Museum. I look forward to contributing to the development of the Museum over the next few years. The Museum is currently going from success to success, in attracting new visitors and undertaking a range of groundbreaking social inclusion projects. As well as contributing my ICT experience to the Museum, I also look forward to helping to develop links between the National Football Museum and the local community”.
