The Goalkeeper

Museum launches picture loan service for businesses

Successful local builders Conlons are proudly displaying a unique piece of art in their boardroom, thanks to the National Football Museum .

The recently acquired painting, called The Goalkeeper is on loan from the museum as part of their Corporate Membership scheme. The scheme provides opportunities for companies to be a part of the museum, which holds the finest collection of football artefacts in the world.

David Pearson, Museum General Manager said: ‘We have had a corporate membership scheme for a number of years. As an extra benefit we recently decided to include loan of a painting from our extensive collection. Conlons are the first company to take advantage of this and we expect it to be very popular. Our corporate sponsors are extremely important to us and play a vital role in helping to support the museum, which is of course also a charity'.

Michael Conlon, Contracts Director said: ‘We are delighted to be able to support the National Football Museum in this way and to have such a fabulous football painting on our Board Room wall'.
