from Junction 31 on the M6 and the same distance from Junction 1 on the
M55. Look out for the brown signs on main roads as you near the Museum. Preston
is a major rail interchange on the West Coast mainline, halfway between
London and Glasgow / Edinburgh. There are also regular services across
country from East Lancashire / Yorkshire, Blackpool and Manchester Airport.
There is a taxi rank directly outside the railway station entrance. Journey time is approximately ten minutes. no. 19 bus departs every 5 minutes from bay 19 at Preston bus station. |
