‘The Old Whitehorse’
Terraced houses, football, and bad weather: Against some typically English scenery, Crystal Palace and Manchester United play out a very unusual scoreline in the 1972/73 Season.
Daniel Griffin is an artist based in Kent, United Kingdom. In his current work, he attempts to capture scenes and moments from modern and historical football matches. He enjoys depicting footballers in their natural habitat and capturing the vivid colours and bipolar emotions of the players and fans in each illustration.
As much of his inspiration comes when watching games on television or looking at aerial photography, all of his work is drawn from distant, above, and isometric angles.
All of Daniel’s work is:
