George Best’s First Pair of Football Boots, Circa 1960

The first pair of football boots given to George Best by his parents when he first joined a youth team (Cregagh Boys). Best wrote the details of the games that he scored goals in on the sides in white paint. He brought the boots with him to Manchester when he joined Manchester United in 1961.
