Hi please can you tell me any details of this item which is not on display. I have been doing some research on USA football and would like to know which game this originated from and who these were given to eg all the team members or just the entire team as a gift? Thanks
Tim Ashmore says:
Hi Steve, thanks for your interest. Unfortunately, all we know about this is what is written above, and that it was originally part of the Harry Langton collection.
Langton was a London journalist with a passion for the game and finding a home for the collection was one of the driving forces behind the foundation of the National Football Museum. Sadly, the vast majority of this collection was received with very little in terms of documentation, so who it belonged to originally is currently unknown.
