Football is the game of our lives. Now, we want to know more about the game of your life. We want you to share your personal memories of the beautiful game, with your stories, photos and videos going into a permanent fan-led collection at the museum.

We are encouraging fans across the country to share their personal memories of the beautiful game as part of our Game of our Lives campaign. Do you remember your very first journey to the match? Were you there in the stands for one of your side’s big moments? Why does football matter so much to you?

It is the first time in our history that so many in the football community are being asked to directly contribute to and get involved in a permanent fan-led collection at the museum.

Whether you support one of the ‘big six’, a Football League mainstay or your local grassroots team, we want to hear from you.

What we’re looking for:

Stories: What makes football the game of your life? How does it make you feel? Why is it so important to you?
Photos: In the stand or on the pitch, we want to see snaps that encapsulate your relationship with the game.
Videos: Short video clips on your special football moment.

Sharing your story is simple. Tag us in on Twitter @FootballMuseum or Instagram @nationalfootballmuseum, or use #GameOfOurLives across both. You can also email us your best football memories at gameofourlives@nationalfootballmuseum.com.

For more information on how to share your submissions, where they will be used and what permissions are required, please see our PDF guide: National Football Museum: Game of our Lives campaign
