Museum Futures: one-year placement (paid)
Deadline: 6 November 2020
Fancy a season’s worth of paid training at the National Football Museum? We’re taking part in the Museum Futures scheme, and are looking for someone to join the side on a one-year paid placement scheme.
The Museum Futures trainee will help the museum’s Content team to coordinate and develop informative, engaging, accessible and diverse content for the museum’s galleries and online use. The chosen candidate will be fully trained on digitisation (including photography and scanning objects) and digital engagement (including online events and schools programming).
The trainee will mainly work at our Manchester site, but will also support work at our stores in Preston (travel expenses will be paid).
Museum Futures is positive action traineeship. We particularly welcome applications from candidates that are under-represented in the museum sector, including Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates, candidates without an undergraduate degree, and/or disabled candidates.
