Return of the #FootballDads!

9 June 2017

Father's Day is coming on Sunday 18 June, and the National Football Museum is offering you the chance to win the perfect day out for your football-mad dad.

We had a fantastic response to this last year, so again we want to see celebratory selfies, full-kit toddlers and inter-generational pictures in stadiums 2 hours before kick-off.

Just share your favourite picture of you and your dad which shows how much football means to your family. It can be of you playing or watching, at home, in the park, on the street or at the ground (or anywhere, really).

Send us your picture on Twitter @FootballMuseum, or tag nationalfootballmuseum in your Instagram post including the hashtag #FootballDads. We'll pick a winner on Thursday 15 June.

The winner will get a day at the museum with everything laid on, including:

  • Football Plus passes for the family, so Dad can either prove he's the boss when it comes to football skills (or take credit for teaching the rest of the family everything they know)
  • A personalised tour of the museum for the family, focussing on the stories from your favourite team or era of football
  • Special Father's Day Subbuteo gift kit from the National Football Museum shop
  • Lunch for upto 4 at Cafe Football at the National Football Museum

Plus we'll throw in photos with our famous replica trophies, and everything you'll need to make sure it's a winning day out for your family!

Even if you don't win we're a brilliant place to bring your Dad on Father's Day. Check out www.nationalfootballmuseum.com/shop for some great gift ideas, or follow @cafefootballNFM for the latest from our our new cafe team.

If you choose to enter this competition by posting your pictures online and tagging @FootballMuseum or using the #FootballDads hashtag, we may Retweet or Repost entries from the National Football Museum account, for the purposes of further promoting or discussing the competition. Outside of this we won't sell, own or otherwise re-use your pictures without your permission.
