Sniffing out something fun to do this Easter weekend? Then follow your nose and head down to the museum for our trophy hunt with doggy detective Pickles the Dog! Museum mascot Pickles will be in party mood on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, celebrating 50 years since he tracked down the stolen World Cup Trophy in 1966! See this national treasure in all its glory at the museum on Easter Sunday (and that’s not just Pickles!) and enjoy our Easter Trophy Trail; with sweet treats for everyone taking part!

And on Easter Sunday we'll be joined by Manchester Dogs' Home  and you can bring your own dogs along to the museum (not just outside but inside too!) to really celebrate the role of our four legged friend Pickles in the 1966 World Cup story! Bring along donations of food and new equipment to help support Manchester Dogs' Home; speak to  their staff to find our more about their fantastic work; and if you're looking for some canine companionship you'll be able to get details of the all their pooches currently looking for a new home too!
