Football means so much to young supporters across the country - but what was the experience like for previous generations of fans?

Join us as we travel back through the decades to discover just what it meant to follow your team. Children between the ages of 8 and 12 can take in the sights, smells and sounds of bygone eras, experiencing in the matchday atmosphere like never before.

For one hour, children can dress up in traditional fans' clothing, investigate some of the museum's interesting objects and explore our galleries, discovering how grandparents and great-grandparents showed their support on a Saturday afternoon.

This half term, Going to the Match sessions will be running at 11:30am and 2:30pm from Monday to Friday, and are included in the price of admission. Speak to a member of our team to book your place.
