Hand of God Football Plus+ interactive Calendar

The National Football Museum is proud to unveil the latest addition to its suite of Football Plus+ interactives, placing visitors at the heart of one of English football's most iconic moments.

This summer, supporters can relive the pain, bitterness and outright incredulity of the 1986 FIFA World Cup with our Hand of God experience.

React quickest to Steve Hodge's miscued clearance, leap unfathomably high into the air, and fist the ball beyond the onrushing Peter Shilton as many times as you can within the 60-second timeframe. Any attempt to head the ball results in instant forfeiture.

Bonus points will be awarded for the most exuberant and convincing celebrations, while friends or family members can protest vociferously at the You Are The Ref display not fifteen yards away.

The new interactive, generously sponsored by the Argentine Football Association, will be available to play from Friday 22 June on Level 2.

Visitors can see Diego Maradona's match-worn shirt from that memorable quarter-final encounter in our World Cup display on Level 1.
