#HiddenHistory: Play Your Part Calendar

30 September 2018 - 30 September 2018
11am - 3pm

The National Football Museum would like to capture memories from female footballers, to include them in a new women's football exhibition in 2021.

On Sunday 30 September, we are opening our doors to those who played during the time of the Women's Football Association, from the 1950s up to the WFA's dissolution in 1993. Little has been chronicled about this period, giving rise to the term 'hidden history', and yet it is these lost decades which helped to keep the women's game alive, allowing it to flourish in the modern day.

If you played during this period, we want to hear and record your stories, to become part of our extensive archive on women's football. Drop in between 11am and 3pm to share your memories and memorabilia, handle some of our collections objects and celebrate the #HiddenHistory of the women's game.
