The Manchester Football Writing Festival is back! From the 1-8 September some of football's smartest and best-informed writers, journalists and analysts will be sharing insight, advice and possibly a few stories that WON'T be featured in their written work...

There are events here at the museum, at Waterstones Manchester Deansgate, Hotel Football, and at the Royal Northern College of Music. It features The Blizzard Live, Guardian Football Weekly Live and ends with a fantastic panel from Women In Football offering advice on How To Get Ahead in Football Journalism. In between we'll cover Argentina, Manchester's history of young talent, Fifty Years Of England's Hurt and how Opta are leading the Revenge Of The Nerds!
