Sporting Memories: Wild Weather Calendar

2 March 2020 - 2 March 2020
10.30am - 12.00pm

What's the worst weather you've ever experienced at a football match?

Soaked through to the skin during an away-day defeat? Blown every which way by the wind on the uncovered terraces? Or frozen solid in sub-zero temperatures?

With the worst of the winter weather (hopefully) subsiding, we want to know the worst conditions you've endured whilst watching - or perhaps playing - a game. Join our Sporting Memories group and share your experiences with like-minded older people.

The Sporting Memories Network have regular get-togethers around the country, using sport as a way to help people meet others, talk about their experiences and make new friends. The National Football Museum sessions have been a hit with visitors, with a second afternoon group launching by popular demand.

Two groups meet fortnightly at the museum on Mondays and Wednesdays, with meetings held from 10.30am to 12pm.

Free, refreshments provided.
