Strip! Talk: Modern Cult Classics Calendar

27 February 2020 - 27 February 2020
6pm - 8:30pm

The second of the National Football Museum's Strip! Talks looks at the place of the football shirt in today's game.

From retro-infused designs through to bold risks and innovations, clubs across the football pyramid have different approaches to kit creation. Our panel will be discussing the best (and worst) shirts of recent years, as well as casting their eye into the future of shirt production and design.

Join Manchester City Women and Canada forward Janine Beckie, Manchester United Women skipper Katie Zelem, Footy.com writer and shirt expert Phil Delves, OOF magazine's Justin Hammond and our host for the evening, BBC Radio Manchester's Pien Meulensteen, for an in-depth look at the present and future of football shirts.

Doors open at 6pm, with our Strip! exhibition open for public viewing on the Score Gallery. The talk will take place on the ground-floor Pitch Gallery from 7pm.

Visited the museum since January, or a City of Manchester resident? You can get free admission to our series of late Strip! Talks. Simply select the relevant option when reserving your place, and bring your museum admission ticket or proof of address with you on the evening.
