Before the days of FIFA, before the days of Pro Evo, ISS or Actua Soccer...before Super Soccer, Kick-Off, SWOS or even Pele's Soccer on the Atari 2600, there was only one way to play as your heroes at home: the mighty Subbuteo.

We're teaming up with Manchester Subbuteo Club to deliver flick-to-kick sessions at the museum. Take charge of one of the sides competing in the FA Cup Fifth Round this Sunday and lead them to glory in the Pitch Gallery.

Whether you're a young amateur who's never seen a Subbuteo table, or a seasoned veteran of yesteryear with the sets and teams stowed away in the loft, we want you to get involved.

Join Danny and the team in the Pitch Gallery between 11:30am and 3pm for some nostalgic football tabletop action!
