We are getting in the mood for our home tournament this summer with the second in a series of one-day festivals at the National Football Museum.

On Saturday 28 May, we'll be getting behind the Lionesses with a host of activities, storytelling sessions, crafts, activities and more. We will be opening our Pitch Gallery space for free, so all of Manchester can join in the celebrations!

All galleries, all day

Pick up our latest gallery trail, focusing on key England items in the museum. This jam-packed guide features some amazing original art of the tournament’s best players, offers creative challenges and guides you round some women’s football museum highlights! Complete it and redeem your free prize at the museum gift shop.

Facepainting

Pitch Gallery, 11am - 1pm

Show your support and get your face decorated before you head around the museum! Do you want your country’s colours, roaring lions or even a unicorn? The choice is all yours with this drop-in activity.

UEFA Women's EURO 2022 Roadshow

Cathedral Gardens, all day

The UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 trophy roadshow is coming to Manchester this month! Get down to Cathedral Gardens to get photos with the trophy, take part in activities, witness amazing skills demos and hear from star speakers.

Make Your Own Armband

Match Gallery landing area, 11am – 2pm

We want our visitors to make your very own captain's armband, promoting and supporting causes that matter to them. This could be anything, from LGBTQ+ rights, climate change, women's football, anti-bullying, anti-racism - it's entirely up to you!

Drawing Drills: Football Sticker Making

Pitch Gallery, all day

Be inspired by the Euros and our video workshop with artist Millie Chesters and draw your favourite players from the tournament!

Pickles and the Stolen World Cup

Play Gallery Discovery Zone, 10:30 - 11:15am

It's 1966 and the World Cup is taking place in England. Everyone is so excited - but then the trophy is stolen! Follow Pickles the Dog, crack the case and sniff out the missing trophy. Suitable for children age 7 and under.
