NATIONAL FOOTBALL MUSEUM AND MANCHESTER CITY LAUNCH THE ‘ULTIMATE FOOTBALL DAY OUT’ EXPERIENCE

In a first for Manchester, the museum and Manchester City are offering a unique tour that gives sports fans the opportunity to experience both Manchester City’s iconic home ground, the Etihad Stadium, and the home of 150 years of football history, the National Football Museum.

The experience, which caters to local supporters and international fans alike, brings together a 90-minute, behind-the-scenes, guided tour of the Etihad Stadium and a visit to the museum, where all guests receive a £5.00 package to experience our Football Plus+ Penalty Shootout, take trophy photos, and join an exclusive guided tour of the galleries (for groups of 10 and more).

One lucky group from Manchester City Supporters Club were some of the first to enjoy the benefits of this new action packed day out.  Daniel Cheeseman, from the Supporters Club, reviewing the package wrote that he was, 'very impressed with the whole experience and was pleasantly surprised with the level of detail put into making the experience as memorable as possible.' Describing the museum, he writes that what further impressed him, 'was the sheer quantity of items on show, not only from British football, but also on the international level – you really could spend all day there!'
