Children’s Football Writing Festival 2022 Calendar

This October half term marks the return of the Children's Football Writing Festival.

Fan favourite Matt Oldfield, writer of Unbelievable Football and co-author of the Ultimate Football Heroes series, will be running one of his trademark high-energy creative workshops at 1pm, designed to get kids thinking creatively about the words they use.

This creative writing session will be a World Cup special, focusing on the upcoming 2022 tournament! The activity  lasts for one hour, and Matt will be remaining behind afterwards to answer your burning questions and sign copies of his books, many of which are available from the museum shop.

This Children's Football Writing Festival activity is included in your admission ticket, and is free for City of Manchester residents.
